Rocky Hock Playhouse
productions are a “must see”
for every youth and school group!!
Attention: Youth Groups
The Rocky Hock Playhouse is dedicated to producing shows that are
appropriate for all age groups. Young people always seem to enjoy
seeing the bible come to life on stage. What
could be better than kids taking a “picture in their minds” of what it
might have been like in Israel 2000 years ago?
We do everything we can to make excursions to the Rocky Hock Playhouse
affordable to everyone. Full price tickets are usually $18. However,
group tickets for young people (ages 5-18) to regular performances of
all major Rocky Hock Playhouse musicals are only $11 each. Two chaperones per 10 youth may also purchase tickets for just
$11.
Youth
groups will be seated in the balcony where the view of the stage is
magnificent. |

booking details below.)
This is why we feel so strongly about
exposing
young people to the gospel early. . .
| Consider
all the social changes that have happened in our society in the past 35
years. The (very near) future of America is in the hands of our young
people. Thom Rainer in his book, Closing the Back Door, states
that in America, 82 percent of the people who become Christians do so
before the age of 20. In his expanded study he found that 75 percent of
Americans who become Christians do so between the ages of 9 and 14. If
we do not reach the young, we will not be seeing many people come to the
Lord in our country. How tragic.
School, Sunday school groups, and youth groups
should consider making a trip to Washington, NC to the “new” Rocky Hock
Playhouse to see our entertaining, scriptural, and inspiring
bible based shows.
The productions are filled with terrific music, comedy, authentic
costumes, and historic accuracy. |

GENERAL
INFORMATION
All of our
shows are scripturally accurate and non-graphic and
non-violent in nature. If our shows were a movie…they would be
RATED G. When the character of Jesus is portrayed in our musicals
it is always as a friend and savior. Our storylines are generally
reenactments of famous biblical characters and
events. Each musical is about 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours in
length. Audiences find our productions gripping and people often come
away feeling as though they might have actually been there.
For special Friday morning performances
we require a minimum of 100 people to attend. You are allowed to
bring as many paying chaperones as you wish for these special youth
oriented Friday performances. None of those attending have
to necessarily be “directly affiliated” with your school or youth
group. Home school groups often combine together with other schools to
meet the minimum number of attendees.
We do our
best to combine smaller independent groups to help everyone meet the 100
person minimum at each performance.
We have acres
of free bus and van parking available for your convenience. Restrooms
are large and plentiful and there are no stairs except to the balcony.
